It’s good to be a business woman. I should be a business woman.

I should. I love that! You just gotta figure out a system and a method and a flow and get the dogs to go along with it. Dogs are time, time is money. Money is awesome.

Hmmmmm. I’m literally never gonna do that. The thing is, when you are trying to get that dog who’s on your table or in your tub, off your table or out of your tub and out the door and on their little way so that you can groom the next dog and the next dog ad infinitum you have just destroyed the joy and the beauty and the reward of the work.

Don’t get me wrong! I love getting paid. I work hard. I do gross things for money. Things that my customers don’t want to do, don’t know how to do, don’t have the tools and equipment to do. My work is valuable. My work is sometimes a risk to my own health and safety. I invest heavily in my tools, equipment, products, and groomer education. I give back. I am honored to give back to the community by providing free grooms for dogs in need without the means.
